The label needs one name on it: Oxford Data Recovery. Under that goes John Eccles House, Oxford Science Park, Oxford, OX4 4GP. Reception knows the building under that name, so a box marked Reading Data Recovery can be refused at the door. Use a tracked, insured service. Whatever the job turns into, your drive reaches a bench the day it lands, and we pay for the return journey.
Can I bring it in myself?
You can, though for most people the post is far less bother. There is no counter in Reading. Anything handed over in person is taken in at the intake lab — John Eccles House, Oxford Science Park, OX4 4GP — weekdays 9am to 5:30pm. Ring ahead and your paperwork will be waiting.
Is email an option?

What else needs to go in?
Three things: the drive, anything that has come away from it — a screw, a lead — and the shipping form, printed and filled in. Encrypted volume? The password or recovery key has to be written on that form. Leave the mains adaptor at home unless an engineer asks for it.
Nothing chargeable starts without your word.
Nothing to pay for the look. A single figure, in writing, lands before any chargeable work starts. And your drive is treated as what it usually turns out to be — the last copy left anywhere.
